These Terms & Conditions (the "Agreement") govern the relationship between Pagebound, LLC ("Platform") and the Author or Publisher ("Sponsor") regarding the creation, management, and fulfillment of book giveaways ("Sweepstakes") hosted on the Pagebound platform.

Generative AI Prohibition (Human-Authored Requirement). The Sponsor is strictly prohibited from listing any book for a Sweepstakes on Pagebound that was created, in whole or in part, using generative artificial intelligence.

• Definition: "Generative AI" includes, but is not limited to Large Language Models (LLMs) used to generate writing or art.

• Warranty of Authorship: By creating a Sweepstakes, the Sponsor warrants that the work being promoted is the product of human authorship.

• Enforcement: Pagebound reserves the right to remove any Sweepstakes, without refund or prior notice, if there is a reasonable suspicion that the work violates this AI policy.

Sponsor Responsibilities & Warranties. By initiating a Sweepstakes, the Sponsor further represents and agrees that:

• Legal Compliance: The Sweepstakes complies with all applicable local, state, and federal laws (e.g., "No Purchase Necessary" laws).

• Prize Ownership: The Sponsor owns or has the legal right to distribute the prizes.

Prize Fulfillment. The Sponsor is solely responsible for the delivery and costs associated with prize fulfillment.

• Timeline: Prizes must be dispatched to the winner(s) within a reasonable timeframe after the winner(s) have been identified.

• Costs: All shipping, handling, and costs are the sole responsibility of the Sponsor.

Data Privacy & Participant Information

• Usage: Sponsor will receive winner(s) data (e.g., email addresses, mailing addresses) for the purpose of fulfilling the prize.

• Protection: Sponsor agrees to handle all user data in accordance with Pagebound’s Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws (GDPR/CCPA).

• Prohibition: Sponsor shall not sell or lease this data to third parties.

Limitation of Liability & Indemnification

• Indemnity: The Sponsor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Pagebound LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from the Sponsor's Sweepstakes, including but not limited to prize disputes, copyright infringement, or violations of the AI Prohibition clause.

• Platform Performance: Pagebound provides the hosting "as-is" and is not liable for technical glitches or lost entries.

Sweepstakes Cancellation. Pagebound reserves the right to remove any Sweepstakes that violates this Agreement, Pagebound's Content Policy and/or Terms of Use.
